When you like the monkey you must like the tail, the existing hullabaloo within the ruling Unity Party as a case study. This is an age old adage upon which affiliates hold their bounding relationships in Liberia. These relationships range from mere friendship to legal marriages. The adage explains in part that one must accept all characteristics of a friend, marital partner, etc if that relationship is to exist void of rift. It may not only apply to characteristics but also outside children should be accepted by whoever partner has them, in the case of marriages for this political case study. Madame Sirleaf and Unity Party are marital partners for life. That relationship is indelible, period. The distances of her children when it comes to associating with Unity Party speak volumes of them being outside children to this much heralded and recently faltering marriage between Ellen and UP. You need not wait for a philosopher or a rocket scientist to tell you that when this omen exists in a relationship, things crumble and sorry to mention here but matrimonial contact becomes seldom. Theres no understanding in the home especially when the father gradually detests his step (wifes) children or child and he doesnt want to lend him/them any support thereby wishing him/them ousted out of the house. Unity Party obviously remains the father, Ellen the mother and her Children are step children given the fact that they were brought on board[HOME] to steal from the father farm[Liberia] after her Marriage with UP. The mere fact that the child[Robert Gay Sirleaf] of the mother[Ellen] doesnt want to go on the pillar of his step father [UP] in his greedy political sojourn, there seems a giant and unsolvable problems thereby creating a herculean task for UP for the not too distant political future. There are remaining three years of the 12 for UP reign to come to a full stop until otherwise order. But it appears that more halahala-esque (internal political confusions) within the ruling party await our witnessing in Liberia because if you touch Rob you touch Cousin Ellen. Disintegration has taken place between corrupt and unpatriotic Ellen and disfigured, demoralize, disoriented, disjointed and dismembered dis-Unity Party. The party wants to tell us that they like the monkey [Ellen] but they dont like the tail (Rob). Deep trouble. More to come because we know how vindictive Ellen the corrupt is.
