I need to make the mental adjustment to winter. 21 degrees last night. Moved water troughs yesterday afternoon and laid all hoses where I can drain them. But that was after frozen hoses the night before - when I had tried to water mare and foal in barn yesterday morning the hose was frozen so I had watered with a bucket but forgot to turn off water. I came home several hours later yesterday to a flooded stall and spent quite some time cleaning and sweeping water out of that stall. Dont want to repeat that again.
