I never rant but, I feel like there is a need this one time. Let me just say that I am very upset about the way that the NFL has handled the stuff with Peterson and Rice, I know everyone is entitled to their own opinion, but I have one too. And I just want to say that I am disgusted with way they handled it, the organization perpetuated and perpetuates the continued thinking that the institution of domestic violence is acceptable and should be kept private, and that the offender has more rights and is better protected than the victims. Family violence/ domestic violence is a serious matter, and no matter who the perpetrator is or what he does should not deter justice for a victim. A slap on the wrist is unacceptable. End rant.
