I often find that my busyness is an attempt to avoid some greater issue. I tend to get real busy in an attempt to avoid uncomfortable issues I need to address head-on. Though, I will say that sometimes if used appropriately, a temporary distraction can be okay, if I need to process something about the bigger issue, but avoidance, avoidance is the problem. And its easy to avoid something unpleasant if I can claim that I was busy with other things.
