I played traditional sports and when my son Kaleb Kier found his passion for the skate park I was a touch leary. Traditional sports have life lessons and mentors and it really worried me that he would be missing some important stuff. Despite my worries, I did my job which was to support my sons passion and I couldnt be more happy with the decision. Kaleb and my family have enjoyed so many great experience, places and people because of his passion. We also have been through tough times too such as injuries comp losses ect which has made our family tougher and closer. I dont know what freestyle scootering will be and what capacity Kaleb will participate 10 years from now but I am so PROUD of where Kaleb has started and where he is going. I also will encourage him to listen to his heart and chase dreams despite negative people. He continues to progress and most importantly his smile after landing a big trick is worth it all.
