I pondered this morning This morning as usual I went to the local hang out for us older people , As usual the same people were there, they had no cares most of them had planned for retirement so of course did not . Talking politics and getting all worked up over something they neither will do anything about or act on . I pondered these things in my head as I vaguely listened to them talk about the fence posts they just put in around their property . How they would have done this or that if Joe Mows place was theirs and why didnt they do this or that with all the money they have ? As I pondered the Garbage they were talking which was all it was almost bragging how they are doing , all the while thinking you guys have no idea how lucky you were to be born here in the USA . Jesus tells us the pour you have with you always . But I ponder who is the most pour ? The children in the 3rd world countries or them ? A lot of the people and children there in the 3rd world are just wanting to find shelter and food or one or the other ! But in most cases they find a place or shelter from Christian organizations Like local Pastors who have heard the call and had compassion for their hard ships and distress, They teach them of Jesus which they would not have come to know had they not been in such a state . Jesus tells us to feed the pour and widowed to comfort them for in doing so we are doing it unto him. These Pastors in their heart have done the right thing , yet it is hard for them to see the light at the end of the tunnel so to speech . Because of their hearts they go to anyone and everyone to seek help but it seems little or some cases none help . Whether it be because they just do not have the Money or they are all about themselves only the Lord knows for sure ! Only the Lord knows the thought and intents of all of our hearts . And of course there are those in third world or even in moderate countries who think you should pay their schooling because you live in a better nation than they do so they are entitled so you had just better come up with the money for them , Because they think the Bible tells them they are entitled to a hand out from you ? Many all over the World are pour whether it be from hunger or from abundance each are equally poor of the Spirit of God for they will all have the same reward if they do not find their way to the Kingdom of God ! Those in poverty are more likely to call on the Lord than those who have much ! Mark 10:24 And the disciples were astonished at his words. But Jesus answered again, and saith unto them, Children, how hard is it for them that trust in riches to enter into the kingdom of God! So I ponder as the day goes on who in the end will be the losers and the winners ? Will you call on the Lord or just talk about about things you will not or do not have control over and lose what really matters in the end ? So who is really poor ? Jesus gave us all the Plan set before us and many twist it to fit their own ideas not truly following what the Bible says but just enough to make them feel they have done enough ? If Jesus had gone only part way what would have been the result ? We would have died in our sins not ever finding a way to escape his wrath ! But of Love for each of us Jesus went the whole way to the cross ! Acts 2:38 this is your escape route the only one take it whils you still are able to find his rest! For these same things were they doing just before the flood came and they all died.
