I posted something similar on my author page, and thought Id share here, too. I received proofs for Bringing Home the Bad Boy, Evan Downeys story, today! Proofs are the final shot I have at making sure the pages are as perfect as I can make them before they send to the printer. Then this book will be bound behind the beautiful cover you see here. I have wanted to write Evan Downeys journey ever since I introduced him in Hard to Handle. I knew he was a widower. I knew he was brother to both Aiden and Landon Downey. I knew he was the grumpier of the three. I did not know how heart-breaking it would be to write his story, or how uplifting it would be to watch him coax the heroine, Charlie out of the confines of her shell. Since this happily ever after was so hard-won, its been an incredibly satisfying journey. The book is out in January, which (alarmingly) is only a few short months away.
