I pulled these flowers off a job site...they were growing where a hole was dug up...who knows how long those bulbs had been waiting to see the sun...but I knew something they didnt know...if the continued to grow there, theyd be buried again...so I relocated them...good soil, water, sun...the shock was too much...they never blossomed...the leaves dried up...they might think I killed them...but they dont know about next season...they dont know that the bulb is still alive...and next season...they will be thankful for the change...they dont know they were almost buried under concrete...but I do. I look at the pots of dirt every day...on the surface, there is nothing...but underneath, there is life.
