I rarely get really personal on here, but I must say that if I didnt have the Lord in my life, I would not have been able to make it through this year. Since my sweet step-dad passed away, Ive dealt with so many obstacles - from my Mom being sick and having surgery, to my husband being several hundred miles away, to moving and handling all the many details that it involves, selling the house and finding a new one, working, getting a new position, not being able to go on our girl vacay with my cousins and now the damage to my vehicle - just to name a few - there have been more!! I dont think Ive had this many problems in my entire life - theyve all hit in 6 months. I have turned it all over to God from the very beginning and have had a peace that he will take care of us and you know what, he has. I have been mostly calm through this whole thing. I know that problems build character and I think Im full of character and wisdom at this point, so I hope I can coast the rest of the way. My point is that God never gives you more than you can handle, even though it seems to be unbearable. I hope I have lived up to the challenged and there is a prize at the end!
