I rarely rant on Facebook and I am going to only speak in general terms. If this sounds like you or someone you know then that is simply a coincidence. So here goes. Not one but I am dealing with two professionals from different companies and types of businesses. Both are also local. In both cases I am the customer or client. Both have the same problem. They NEVER, and I mean never, ever return calls or text messages. Now they promise they will call you right back but you know they have no intention of calling you. And maybe they forget, well that may happened one time. But time and time again? I mean every time you are not going to get a call back. And of course you can not call them, they are never available. I mean they do not have ten seconds in their busy day to send you a text message that they are thinking of you can will get back to you as soon as possible. Nope, nothing. Then after days and weeks you make one more desperate attempt to call and by some accident they forget and pick up the phone. When you ask what the heck is going on and why have you not returned my voice mail message or text messages? They always have excuse ready, like there were aliens attacking, or a meteor dropped on my car, or I was on the line with someone else when you called. I mean really, you was on the phone for 10 days straight? I called and left 30 message and sent you numerous text that all showed delivered. And now you still want my business or handle my account? Both of these people are in professional businesses that depend on customers. If they worked for me they would be fired!. I must say in all my years of being in business and in sales I never once let a day pass that I had not returned all my calls. Oh, sorry, make that three companies. I actually forgot about another one that was promised they would call me by the end of the day. It has been three days. In there defense they did not say the end of what day. Is this the sign of todays times? Have businesses and business professionals forget what common courtesy is. We have more communications technology than ever before in the history of mankind and yet these people can not seem to call me, text me, fax me, stand in their yard and beat on a hollowed out log. Nothing. My promise to all my customers, friends and even people I do not know. If you call me I promise I will call you back within one day even sooner if I am not sleeping or dead. If you text me I will respond as soon as I am not driving. If you email me you will get a response as quick as I am at a computer or get the email on my phone. If you Facebook Message me then you will get a response as soon as I log on and that is a number of times every day. I promise under oath of GOD that I will respond.
