I realize I post about the Yellow House a lot, but I never really explain what it is. The Yellow House is a Student Ministry at SFA.. I am an officer this year and last year was my first year to be a part of the Yellow House. I couldnt be more proud to be a Yellow House officer among some of the most amazing people Ive ever met. On Sundays we have Bible class at the Yellow House and then go to church from there, after we take communion to nursing homes. On Mondays we have Monday Morning Manna which is a free breakfast around 7am and Monday nights we go to a homeless shelter in downtown Nacogdoches called Godtel - here we sing and have a sermon and then the guests at the shelter have a meal after. On Wednesday we have Lunch & Lift which is a free lunch at the Yellow House and a short devotional to lift our spirits midweek. Wednesday nights we have bible study. Thursdays we have Praise & Worship. This is where a church nearby volunteers and comes to the Yellow House, providing us with a sermon and a meal to follow. We dont have anything set weekly on the calendar for weekends, but were always up to something.
