Microsoft continues to expand its offerings seduction to motivate users to switch to its Windows Phone platform. Latest, it offers a range of cloud storage of Skydrive. Microsoft wants to keep its customers happy and especially one that uses Windows Phone. Thus, for a period of 1 year, the company intends to thank users for their loyalty with some gifts. An email has been sent to users of smartphones brand inviting them to activate a bonus storage space in SkyDrive. Microsoft is gifting 20 GB additional space on its cloud platform to every user of Windows Phone, and for 1 year. Each user will have until the end of January 2014 to enable the service. So apparently the gift may be modest, since SkyDrive has become much more important after the introduction of Windows 8.1 and many users have subscribed to the service from Microsoft. The company wants its users to turn to SkyDrive, mainly operating from a mobile device that does not has a large storage solution such as smartphones or tablets. As such, the firm already offers 200 GB of online storage for 2 years with every purchase of Surface 2 or Surface Pro 2.
