I realized once again yesterday that there are animals that are smarter than people. As we were driving through Parc Safari, so many times we would see people stop because there was an water buffalo 100 feet away under a tree and they are holding out their hand. Now obviously the animal had no interest in the 150 cars that just passed but hey, never can tell, might get lucky. They sit there and wait for 10 minutes in the exact same position and then finally move on. I could just about hear the water buffalo laughing to himself. The other thing that just amazed me was the frequent statements on the radio and signs around the safari drive that said to stay in your vehicles and not open your doors and yet the car in front of us would stop every little bit so that some urchin could jump out and grab a carrot that someone had dropped so they might entice an animal closer. Some people are just too dumb. Good times for us though! Having a great time on vacation!
