I really dont know if people know that words hurts. I am mixed and I am proud to say that I am half Caucasian and African American. I was born that way, and I would not change that for anything, but through out my 23 year I have gotten the question what are you. And then I get that puzzled look on my face, I want to tell people that Im a human just like you. I hate that everybody has to have a title or a brand. Its like nobody can accept something for what it is, I have been calling names and yes it hurts having to come to a conclusion that youre different because youre not the the same. No one is the same. The one thing that makes us equal is our body make up. We all have a brain we all have a heart, lungs, eyes an eccentric. We are human, we are the human race. I dont want to pinpoint and say that Ive only been call names by people of a certain race, because that is not even the case. People that look like me have judge me people that dont look like me have judge me and made fun of me. Because I dont fall into the stereotypical type a person that I should be. Im not going to let society rule me and tell me what I have to be when I know who I am. Words hurt and do have meanings. The best advice I have for those who are not open minded or small brained to think about your words before to say them because they could have the attempt to crush that persons spirit, cut them down or just point blank kill them. An old saying but it still stands up to this time, if you have nothing nice to say dont say anything at all. Keep your mouth shut and ears open, cuz when you do that you find out that person is not so much different than you are.
