I really dont want to belabour the discussion about Majority Rule - TopicsExpress

I really dont want to belabour the discussion about Majority Rule Day, but the Bahamian people in 1967 did not vote in the Government. That is a historical fact. We made a huge mistake as a country to name January 10th as Majority Rule Day to signify the outcome of the 1967 General Elections. April 10th 1968 should be considered when the Majority Ruled for the first time in this country by way of elections that was based off of one man/woman and one vote. That is the elections when the party that became the government received the majority of the seats after all of the ballots were counted. And to prove my point I will ask a question. If sufficient Members of Parliament right now cross the aisle and became FNMs, will that mean that the FNM won the General Elections in 2012?
