I really enjoyed that session this morning. Finally after months - TopicsExpress

I really enjoyed that session this morning. Finally after months of struggle Im starting to see some improvements in my running. Ran my two fastest kms this year and as the last 2 of the set this morning. I have had a monumental slump the past 6 months but am almost ready to step back up to my old group- only 5s/km behind today. Dont worry, the boys running with me the last few weeks- we will all take that step together- you guys are making the improvements too. How did everyone else go with the session? Its really about pace judgement. Did you manage to get faster each km, and by the 5s? I love hearing the results of the sessions so please share below. Dont be shy, the more I know about how people handle the sessions the better job I can do of coaching and I am genuinely interested to hear. So lots of responses please. Those who ran Twilight, how have you pulled up? Did you struggle to hold the pace or did it feel Ok? I always find this is difficult to predict and its always a bit of a wait and see thing. Dont worry if you are fatigued. Its normal- but you need to recover in order to improve from the experience. And just a final acknowledgement - we had Liam Woollett run with the group this morning and although I havent kept diligent records on this Im pretty sure he smashed the course record for the 1km, running 2:45 . for the 1km. Really puts my times in perspective ha. Well done Liam, Its very inspiring to have you run past.
