I really hope the guy to whom this is directed to is on here, because reading this may save your life. Myself and hubby were riding through the tunnel this afternoon on seperate bikes. Hubby taking the lead. It was REAL busy in there. We needed to move into the far left lane so as I head checked before putting on my indicator there was a guy on a bike about half a metre to my left, dead in my blind spot. My bike is fairly loud so I hadnt heard him and not seen his approach as I was trying to make sure I stay alive myself by watching the rest of the traffic lane swap. So I looked at him, and put my indicator on. I moved over so he could pass me as I was unable to go left until he did . Still no reaction. I sped up to get away from him. He followed . And he stayed in the same spot to the left of me. So very very close:( My only option was to slow down and force him past . Which is exactly what he did. He proceeded to catch up to hubby and play the same game with him . ( who wasnt quite so understanding and told him to go away ) It took the whole length of the tunnel to pass this guy. He wasnt hooning around. Or behaving in an erratic manner,But sitting in someones blind spot and refusing to move over or allow a fellow rider to pass safely is just not right. As he left the tunnel and headed towards the freeway I watched him catch up to another rider and sit up their arse in the same way. So... Look out for shadow man all of you! And if you are him reading this... Try not to be another statistic mate, and back off or youll possibly make somebody else one. Ride safe. Live long. Be happy:)
