I recently paid a speeding fine of $180. Initially I had received two fines each for $180 that were within 2 minutes of each other! After receiving good advice from Scott of speedingfineconsultants I was spared paying the second fine. Paying $180 is bad enough... This is the letter I sent in to the Victoria Police: Dear Sir/Madam, In reference to infringement notice numbers.................. Please be aware these fines were issued within a short space of time giving me no opportunity to address either driver behaviour or a mechanical error in the vehicle. Accordingly with the recent changes to Vicpol policy regarding this anomaly, in the name of fairness I ask that you withdraw the second fine. Thanks Scott.
