I reduced this recipe by half with the exception of not reducing Step 1 ( the tomato sauce) .I made the full quantity which I thought was perfect - the moussaka was still firm when it came time to cut and serve but was soft and moist. I cooked it in a square glass 8 x 8 dish. I did have to slice the zucchini into thinner pieces after cooking them in as I was running out of room layering the ingredients. I also used only 1/2 tsp. of dried dill - no fresh. The only thing I added was a herb stock cube to the tomato sauce. My husband enjoyed the dish very much and I will not change anything else. I definitely recommend this recipe as a keeper.
