I remember having to do something like this my freshman yr in Mrs. Parkers class. We had to write to ourselves at the beginning of the yr and we would get the letter back on the last day of the yr... I still have that letter, and to this day i can still remember almost exactly what it says... It was cool seeing how my opinions and views had changed and how different my life had become than what i had expected, and that was just in 1 yr. If i think about how different everything is now, since my freshman yr of high school, its like it was a whole other life. if i wouldve gotten that letter back 20 yrs after i wrote it, i dont think i would even recognize the person i was back then. Hell if i got it back now I probably wouldnt either, and it has only been 8 yrs since i wrote it. (Wow, 8 yrs since freshmen yr. It doesnt seem real), to think i would still have another 12 yrs before i would reread that letter. Its weird bc right now freshmen year seems like a different lifetime ago and in 12 yrs from now, if i ever get the chance to reread this FB status im sure this will seem like a different life as well.....(hey future self, if u ever see this, just remember u were and most definitely still are beautiful, and intelligent, and loved, and about as happy as any 22 yr old in a mountain of student loan debts can be :).. Remember, today is the oldest u have ever been, and the youngest u will ever be).
