I remember that little rascal Tony and his brother Javi coming - TopicsExpress

I remember that little rascal Tony and his brother Javi coming through the doors of Summer Of Discovery when he was like 8 or 9. He was quiet and shy, and Javi a little more outgoing, always Tonys protector. As the summers went on he and Javi along with the Otano boys Anthony and my little Boo Bear, Antwon (he hated that name lol) became my favorites, always the rambunctious ones, very athletic and together wed win every kickball and competitive game all summer every summer for at least 3 or 4 years. Id overlook their behaviors and spoiled them with extra treats and special privileges. Tony & Javi grew up with my daughters and both boys were and always will be special to me. As Tony grew into a young man, I had many visits with him about his boxing, his life, and his struggles amongst other things. He was a great kid fightin the good fight to stay on top. He absolutely adored his kids. Boxing was his love. Always a hug for me whenever Id see him, always respectful. Ill miss seeing him now and then here and there, just knowing hes gone and those little visits, watching him grow and rise to the top are gone too. But he left behind a beautiful legacy of love, and memories of his fight not only in the ring but for a life he knew he wanted and wanted to give his family. Against all odds he was finding his way through and many can admire, love and remember that about him. He would tell me Its hard, it gets real hard, to do the right thing but i know i have to, im going to, i have no other choice and he was doing it. He was a role model, a good son, a good friend just a plain ol good kid. We had a fundraiser yesterday and as I wrote the words proceeds go to the Tony Losey family it brought tears to my eyes, hes really gone, its so unfair! They say God has a plan for everything. That remains to be seen. Tony has definately left his mark on the world and through the gut wrenching sadness many are feeling with this loss, there are messages his death has left us with..... love like todays the last day, live a worthy life, use your strength to persevere, through hard work one can achieve anything and no matter whats going on around you, you are the only one that can change YOU. I dedicate this song to Tony Losey he is in the arms of Angels, i think he always was______
