I remember watching the magician Criss Angel on A&E. Though I was impressed, after it went off I would always get this weird feeling as though I had just watched a really scary movie or something..that an evil presence was in my room. I didnt understand why I felt like that, and it kind of bothered me that I felt this way because, after all, whats wrong with a little magic? Well, the answer is EVERYTHING. Now that Im in the know it makes perfect sense that I would feel an evil presence around me after I watched a man perform WITCHCRAFT on live television! I used to be the type of Christian that thought it wasnt that deep, but revelation knowledge is much sweeter than ignorance. The Hobbit, Harry Potter, MOST DISNEY MOVIES, Lord of The Rings, American Horror Story, Charmed, etc....these shows and movies are all DRENCHED in magic/witchcraft. In fact, let me go ahead and say that magic IS witchcraft. As CHRISTIANS, we cannot allow ourselves to be entertained by things that put Jesus on the cross. *selah* You are not going to hell for watching Harry Potter so please dont put words in my status lol. But we wonder why we arent growing in the things of God, why were grown but still have nightmares, and why we dont hear from God. It could be because we are exposing ourselves to the very things Jesus died for--not to pray against it but to enjoy it. What price are you willing to pay for more of God? *Selah*
