I remember we didnt have assigned seats in Mr. Petranoffs math class so everyone that had lunch passes would try to sit closest to door since his class was last class before lunch. That way you could zoom out and run to Burger Chef for lunch. So I rarely beat Richard Harrison to the seat by the door but just so happened one day I did. He complained to Mr. Petranoff that I had his seat. Mr. Petranoff then, because Richard was one of his favorites told me to give the seat to Richard because I knew he sat there everyday. I proceeded to tell Mr. Petranoff I would not give up the seat because he had never assigned seats in the class. After some minutes of debate Mr. Petranoff very frustrated knowing I was making good points told me in front of the class, Stewart, just go to hell!.....LOL....I couldnt believe it....here the only teacher at that point in the school to paddle me telling me that in front of the whole class. Well, I didnt Go to hell but I did go straight home and told my Christian mother what happened. What happened after that was priceless. She took me back to the school and had a meeting with the principal and the teacher. The next day in class Mr. Petranoff had to apologize to me in front of the whole class....this made my day....he hated me immensely after that....LOL.
