I remember when I first started working in radio. God used Dee Dee Renee to see something in me that I couldnt see in myself. And she mentored me and took me under her wing and trained me up in this business. And for that I am eternally grateful. But I remember how the church people ridiculed me and told me that I was going into the devils territory. They bad mouthed me and Dee Dee and told me that I didnt need to be around her. That she would lead me down the wrong path. They called me rebellious and OFF, was a word they loved to use to describe people that were not like them. And as I was in worship today...I couldnt thank God enough! I always wondered where I would be if I had listened to those people. I told God today wherever you want me to go and whatever you want me to do...FOR YOUR GLORY LORD...I WILL DO IT! People have this ideal image of who God is and have placed Him in a box...where He doesnt belong. It doesnt matter if people understand where He is leading you...it doesnt matter if you dont understand where He is leading you...tell God for Your Glory...YES! In your insecurities, in your pain, in your persecution, in your sickness, in your being different, in your being misunderstood, in your being rejected, in your being left out, IN YOUR BEING...tell God for Your Glory! MY whole life...I never understood who I was and often thought something was wrong with me...so I tried to fix me. I say things that people wont say...they will talk about it to others but never say it to the person that it is in reference to, they will act funny or ignore people...but never offer truth and realness. I speak the truth regardless of the outcome, I stand up for the rights of others, I stand for what is REAL...my sister Chetoya Hardison calls it my soap box lol! BUT God says Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, before you were born I set you apart; I appointed you as a prophet (CALL IT OUT) to the nations. So through my tears, through my hurt, through my critics, through my being misunderstood...(singing) For Your Glory I will do ANYTHING! I want to be where you are...
