I rode a taxi home from a leadership seminar. The charge was 54 pesos. I only had a 50 and 20 peso bill. Decided to let the taxi driver keep the change. Me: Keep the change Manong. Merry Christmas. Driver: Salamat kaayo dai. Merry Christmas pud. Ikaw ang pinaka una nga pasahero nag ingon ana sa ako. Ayo ayo. (Thank you dear. Merry Christmas too. Youre the very first passenger who gave me that greeting. You take care.) A simple gesture to a stranger, and It gave an impact on him that much. We never really know how much we can give an impact into other peoples lives. A simple gesture can mean a lot to others, and it makes you happy, too. :)
