I saw an old sports car on my walk down to the Farmers Market today. Made me think of this car. This is the first brand new car that Marna (rip) and I purchased. 1968 Yellow Datsun Sports Car. Not too long after we purchased the car we were at Gerry (RIP) and Nitas (RIP) house on Sleater Kinney Road, Lacey, WA. (Interesting note. They bought it from my family. I lived there for 3 years. Go figure. lol ) Tim and Lynn Fraser were also there. It was night time. Tim Fraser had not driven the car yet. So, Tim, John Swales (in the middle - tight squeeze) and I all got in the car and Tim took us for a very fun ride. No specifics of the ride to protect the innocent or not so innocent. lol I remember this ride very distinctly. Just one of those things that have remained in my head for over 40 years. Hey Lynn, I wonder if Tim remembers that night? Love to the entire Fraser and Swales families.
