I saw in the Gazette the other day that N. C. has about 150 people on death row. Why?? If they went through the criminal justice system why do we still have that many alive. I know they have appeals but this is ridiculous. Why are we having to take care of them with a place to sleep and eat and have medical care and lots more. Our tax money is what is keeping them up and alive. This has to stop. If a piece of trash walks into a store to rob and kill the clerk and the cameras are all over the robbery why dont they be tried in a very fast manner and hang them in the court yard.
