I saw my haematologist yesterday. All is going as planned. - TopicsExpress

I saw my haematologist yesterday. All is going as planned. Unfortunately, my CD4+ has dropped from 400 to 375 but the doctor explained it is normal to fluctuate up and down over the first two years and all is well as long as the general trend up upward. Titre tests revealed I have lost immunity to childhood vaccinations so must repeat them all, including 6 months of Hep B vaccinations. I have already had my ADT, inactivated polio, and influenza shots, so I will continue to have vaccinations in the order prescribed. MMR is to be left until two months post HSCT. Generally speaking, I am quite well. There has been no MS progression at all, and I do not take any MS medications. I have not been exercising as much as normal, largely because a second respiratory virus last month (after another trip away) knocked me around a little and it is sometimes hard to get that momentum back. I need to work on focusing more on myself- more downtime to garden, exercise, read, play with my boys, and enjoy fresh air.
