I saw the The Hobbit movie... it had absolutely nothing to do with what J.R.R. Tolkien wrote... just some vague references to characters we are familiar with through his writings. The second movie of The Hobbit trilogy began to move away from the Tolkiens story with sub-plots and characters that were not in his book. This final episode was a complete departure, and a failure as far as Im concerned. I am amazed that screen writers thought that they could improve on the literary genius of Tolkien... What a shame... The Lord of the Rings trilogy was brilliant.
