I say this with all sadness and disappointment that today the Coroner delivered her final findings. Her final findings were that she believed that Luke received adequate care from Westmead hospital. Even after 4 full days of hearing all the mistakes the hospital and doctors made and 2 independent professors criticised the treatment and care that Luke was given by doctors and hospital staff at Westmead Hospital. Where is the Justice for a life lost that shouldnt of have happened. Firstly sorry to Luke that justice was served for you losing your life and life cut so short at a young age from so many mistakes made. All your future dreams were taken away from you even JUSTICE!!! Secondly sorry to the Australian public we as a family did this also to make sure no other family has to suffer and endure the pain the Wood and Haddad family have during the past 3 years. Sadly due to the Coroners findings this will keep on happening in our hospitals. The coroner can deliver such a shocking outcome but we know the truth and what really happened. Thank you to all our family members and friends for your ongoing support and love you have shown us throughout this 3 year journey. REST IN PEACE LUKE WE LOVE YOU AND MISS YOU EVERY DAY XXXXX.
