Network Public Speaking Camp to train students in to be dynamic presenters. July 8, 2013 MIAMI, FL.— S.O.W. Network will kick off its Public Speaking camp in South Dade on Monday, August 5, 2013 at the Florida Department of Health in Miami Dade located at 18255 Homestead Avenue; Perrine, Florida 33157. This camp is sponsored in part by the SWAT program of the Girl Scout Troop #215. A range of training activities will be offered to include impromptu speaking, introductions and three group presentations. Participants of the camp will have their fee waived for the November 9th Speech Contest. During the camp, participants will learn about the numerous opportunities in public speaking. The purpose of this camp is to enhance the self-esteem of youth in the area of public speaking. The cost for the camp is $55. The fee includes materials/supplies; refreshments; one year membership to a Jr. Toast group and/or the Girl Scouts Troop #215 and a pizza party on the final day. Participants must bring their lunch daily. “We are pleased to offer the first training of this scope in S.O.W.
