I sent my Pakistani driving license via auspost to Pakistan for NOC verification from Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Thats almost 3 months ago. But the license never reached my home. i called Auspost numerous times but they say it has reached Pakistan and we dont know what happened ahead. Contacted Pak post as well say and they said we havent got your mail. ( I made a big blunder here by sending mail without the tracking service just to save few bucks, and now I am paying high for that) So as a last resort I asked my brother(with printed scans) to go to traffic police and request them for issuance of a duplicate license, but traffic police declined saying even for duplicate license we need the person to be here as we have take his photo(even when he presented them my recent photo they declined to issue another one). I had my license in Pakistan from 2007, so i had to do the verification from foreign ministry and then from Pakistani consulate to appear in test for license. There is no possible way out for me as far as my knowledge is concerned I will ask my brother to go again but it seems to me it will be fruitless . Does anyone know is there a way out for me.. I live in adelaide.
