I sent my husband to wal mart yesterday (were doing Thanksgiving today), without realizing that all the black Friday hoopla started at 6. He got out of there at 5:30 with many a story of crazy people hovering over pallets of stuff and waiting outside roped off areas, barely being able to squeeze between the aisles, three uniformed police officers on patrol inside the store, employees taking pity on him as he approached the front of the store as the only person ready to check out, and enough cars to fill the parking lot as he left. I think he was a little shell shocked. Aaaaaand I think I owe him big.
