I should have been more clear in my last message. I know that not - TopicsExpress

I should have been more clear in my last message. I know that not everyone that says Jesus Jesus is legit. The devil is everywhere. But Im not talking about those impostors. All Im saying is that Christians should be more careful with how they say things. A person struggling between following God or following a life of sin is in a sensitive state and the wrong words could be devastating to them. Be more precise and careful in your words. Just proclaiming that God will not hear a sinners prayers could be a death sentence to someone in such a sensitive state. You must remember that they, more than likely, havent studied scripture and dont understand what you mean. To a struggling sinner...the wrong words sound like this: Dont bother because he aint gonna hear you anyways. You arent good enough. NO NO NO. You cant do that. It should be put into words those people can better relate to. Something like: You must repent with all your heart before God will hear a sinners prayers followed by a verse that substantiates your message, is the way to go about helping a sinner find their way. Anything else sounds like judgement. I have been there. Its hard when you feel like Christians are pounding you with judging words. Let me add that what you see on the outside is not always what is on the inside. After all....child predators have been known to wear priests clothing, head a church, and pray for a dying parent/spouse/child in a hospital. Get my point? Only God knows what is in someones heart. Only he knows their souls struggles. Its not our place to say what is in someone elses heart by what just what we see going on on the outside. We cant just assume they havent asked for forgiveness. Only The Lord knows that.
