I speak of unity in the body of Christ, because of and through Christ atonement alone. It is an abomination, to even say other religions and Christianity are the same, or that they can co aside, or be in unity. Christ said he was "the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me." Other religions state he is not the only way, but perhaps a help along the way. God forbid I would ever utter such words! I would be a false prophet. Do not think this harsh of me, Paul said "But even if we, or an angel from heaven, should preach to you a gospel contrary to what we have preached to you, he is to be accursed! Catholics are not Christians their salvation does not rest on Christ, but on the seven sacraments. Islam is not Christian their salvation rest on the so called six pillars, with a way out of them through killing those against Allah. Mormons are not Christians their salvation does not rest on the finish work of Jesus Christ, but on their founder joseph smiths allowing you into heaven, and through works. Jehovah witnesses are not Christians their salvation rest on works, and Christ is not God as he claimed but a good man. I tell you we cannot have unity with these religions! We cannot agree that salvation is Christ plus anything! It is by Jesus Christ, God in the flesh alone, through His death and resurrection that provides forgiveness for our sins and this through faith, not of works lest any man boast. Jesus plus anything is not Jesus at all, but a lie, and another gospel. All these religions preach a different gospel. I pray God pulls many out of these false religions, and we must call them out by the truth given in love, and humility through the empowering of the Holy Spirit, by pointing them totally to Jesus Christ alone through repentance and faith. However, as Paul cried out if any preach a gospel other then the one he preached let them be cursed!
