I spoke a while back on the dangers and power of a skillful musicians with bad theology. A catchy phrase with a nice ditty behind it, can teach more theology to the masses than a prophessor in a classroom unattended by the populous. Sadly, I like Gungor...but how ridiculous! He sounds like many of the secular atheist/evolutionist that say words like science, scientist, or intelligence but lack scientific or intelligent data to actually back up what they say. Having professed to be wise, have become fools! Here are some of his quotes: Gungor: Do I believe that God literally drowned every living creature 5,000 years ago in a global flood except the ones who were living in a big boat? No, I don’t. ...Why don’t I? ...Because of science and rational thought but Michael, Jesus believed and quoted the Genesis account! Was your king a liar or irrational? but Michael, in all of your studies of Jazz guitar, how much SCIENCE did you encounter to make you think that scientific observation and rational thought could rule out the Bible? Gungor: “Because of my autonomous reasoning as a fallible sinful human taken with fallible man’s evolutionary views based on naturalism, I can’t take God’s Word as written in Genesis.” Michael, that might be the most fallible excuse ever written! Are you trying to use some false humility of pointing out that your flawed sinful nature can only grasp a flawed secular humanist view of evolution based on something other than the word of God? Evolution is a belief that is not even fully based on Science, but rather what Gungor deems as naturalism. It often ignores scientific data when it goes against the theory that has been disproven time & time again, and NEVER observed! Well, Id like to argue that my reasoning that comes from a brain made in the image of God, and is subject to His teaching and wisdom that confounds the wise. I have actually read, studied, and tested true Scientific data that has proven the Apostle Peter to be correct! He declared that creation itself testifies of Gods existence leaving mankind without an excuse!
