I spoke at length today with Mr. Newborg, GM for Metrocast. We are going to continue this conversation in the coming weeks to work together to identify and potentially address areas within the District that are still underserved with regards to internet. Ideally, in order to expand their service they need a minimum of 30 homes located per mile, but if 15 residents per mile are willing to sign a one year commitment then we can consider those areas too. Contact me if your area meets either criteria and you want us to take a look at expanding Metrocast there to provide internet service.
