I spoke with a representative @ citi bank (about my Best Buy Card)telling them that I paid the TV off during the promotional period (they just tacked on 300 in interest). The representative then sent me to a supervisor " to see if they could help". I then spoke with Jason(BBBS05) who said he was a manager. I asked for him to tell me the total amount of payments I had made on the BB card since I made the TV purchase. He then proceeded to go over the date and amount of each payment. I told him I actually just want the total. He again continued to go over that same payment and amount. Once again he started saying the exact same payment over again. I asked him why he wouldnt give me the total. He said he wanted to go over all of the payments. I again told him I DONT want each payment I just want the total. He said he would not do that. I asked him to place me on hold to get that amount he said he would do that either. I then was so upset I put my husband on the line.I then put my husband on the phone and this Jason "Manager" talked over my husband and went over the same thing with him. He refused to provide us with the information we requested. He also refused a manager. I work for an upstanding financial institution that finances private label cards such as Best Buy and if this took place at my POE the supervisor would either be fired or demoted. Because of this experience I am closing my best buy card and taking my business to Amazon. I hope this information gets to the right people because if this is who represents your brand Best Buy is in a heap of trouble. Please share
