I started my weightloss and personal development journey only 7 - TopicsExpress

I started my weightloss and personal development journey only 7 months ago and i never thought i would get the results i did in that short amount of time. I give a ton of credit to my CLEAN EATING lifestyle. I started this in feb 2014 at my heaviest weight of 167 lbs. OMG right? I never weighed that much in my life and I could really feel the effects of the weight on every part of my body and mind. I was becoming short of breath just going up and down the stairs to our apartment. I hated grocery shopping, I would always go to the processed and sweets and junk and feel so guilty buying it knowing that it was what put me in this situation. When my weight was at its worst I had horrible anxiety and depression. I hated going to work because I knew what everyone was saying about me and how fat I was, I didnt leave the house much because I was afraid of the looks I would get when I would go shopping and the thought of what my husband thought of me was the worst.( even though he didnt think like that at all, I thought he did) I was putting so much pressure on myself to lose the weight I was doing everything all wrong. Trying every weight loss pill known to man, even going to a plastic surgeon to see if I was eligible for a tummy tuck or gastric bypass. The only thing that held me back from those what the amount of money I had to come up with to get them done. So after the rollercoaster I was on trying to get a quick fix with pills and starving myself, I sat down with my husband Scott and talked about everything, we laughed, but mostly cried and he was very reassuring about my thoughts and what I had to do to get to my goal the dr set for me. I didnt really think much of it until I started talking with my longtime friend Lorelei on fb and on the phone that she was going to help me get there! The money was still an issue for us and I made sure she knew that. She gave me so many resources to look at and also great ideas on how to eat and exercise. The first thing I did was start eating cleaner, meaning no more junk and processed foods, not a lot of bad fats and eating food in its most natural state with little to no preservative. the less ingreadients the better. In the first month I lost almost 10lbs. Not a lot I guess but do you know what 10lbs of fat looks like? NASTY!! So I just wanted to let you guys and gals in on MY little secret and how I started my lifestyle change and better myself. As a result of the little steps I had made over the last 7 months everything is falling into place and I am so blessed with everything that is coming our way. I never thought in my whole life that Beachbody would recognize me and my journey out of all the 100s of thousands of other coaches we have! But I got an email from then last month saying they wanted more info on me and what my results were with the 21 Day Fix, so I filled out the questionier they emailed me and never thought anything of it.... UNTILL SATURDAY!!!! I got another email saying they would love to chat with me on the phone about me and my journey and put me in a new infomercial for the program. They need a video of me doing an interview, a workout and food prep!!! Just think of what you can do with just 30 minutes a day! Never did I ever think something so awesome would happen to me! I AM SO OPEN FOR BUSINESS! FLYING ON CLOUD 9 sorry for the long post, but I consider you all part of my family wheather we just talk on here or I see you around town and we chat a bit. I had to share.
