I stopped at the Angel Tree tonight in the Walmart in Sylva. There are a lot of kids on the tree who arent asking for very much but there are also a lot of senior citizens on there as well. As we draw closer to Christmas the need to help will become greater. I dont make a list and I dont ask for anything specific really. The one thing I will ask is that each of you take the time to help someone in need. Many of us are very fortunate and we can forget there are those who are not. I am sure there are several different places you can contact to put you in touch to a specific cause. I do know there are several great groups on my wall who help pets as well. If you are able to help anyone no matter how much or how little, I guarantee you will be blessed much more than you give. Not going out to eat twice in one week could fill one persons list. I usually leave that store sad because I always spend too much. Tonight I left with tears in my eyes knowing that there is a 93 year old on that tree who is asking for help.
