I suppose you have to have a giggle about things sometimes, after my rant recently about the real cost of breeding and raising Clydesdales, I receive an email message from someone that has made an enquiry with regards to a 2yo Reg Clydesdale colt we have for sale for $3000. This colt has been extensively shown, and has had everything done to him, he has had been Hendra vaccinated etc. He is not actually 2 until the end of September. So I get this message from someone interested in him. Hi There, Your boy looks very nice. Is he broken to Saddle or Harness (he is not even two yet), Does he come with any gear Rugs and saddle ?. What The!!!!!!, I was going to be a smart ass and say, Oh yes he does, and an all expenses paid holiday to the Bahamas, But I thought better of it as they would probably have taken me seriously as they obviously live in fairy land. So I politely replied that no he doesnt.
