I tell u what everyone is making a big about getting out of your race car, news flash racing is struggling its a dangerous sport! Its sad but drama and excitement sales tickets, just look at nascar those guys used to get out fight say cuss words on camera and their ratings where higher than ever they started waterting it down now nobody fights nobody can even talk with intensity little lone say what they feel! My point is people thrive off of excitement! if no one can see the intensity of the sport it will b like golf!(boring no offense fun to play but terrible to watch! Grown men have been doing this for years. Make any man mad enough for what ever reason he is not going to care about points fines or even jail.theyve been arresting folks for years for fighting hasnt really slowed it down! Sad that everyone is trying to steel some spotlight I truly feel bad for Mr ward and his family, but hes not the first driver to get out of his car and get hit we as drivers all know the risks we take every time we strap in and we know the risks of getting out of our cars. Its sad that a celebrity had to be involved to make somethin change.....if it was anyone else like hundreds of times before do think everyone would b so quick to jump on the band wagon.... I think not! Overall the rule change makes sense and is safer...but definitely not as exciting......-PD
