I think Putin hung Assad out to dry, to be disarmed just like Saddam Hussein and Ghadaffi before they were attacked and murdered for regime change. Obama gets his pipeline, Central bank and sharia law radical Sunni islamic regime so what does Putin get? Can he reclaim the "istan" lands that broke from Russia? what else? You know Obama will attack after Assad is disarmed, the rebels will just set up another attack and blame Assad like the first two times.
