I think Ray Rice being cut from the Ravens was the best decision; however, I do not think its right his career was ended. I think Roger Goodell and the NFL used Rice as the scapegoat and his crime was not knocking his wife out but instead it was knocking his wife out and having it caught on video. Since 2000 there were 84 NFL players charged with domestic assault and the biggest suspension was one game. Goodell needs to admit he and the league screwed up and he needs to reinstate Rice, suspend him for six games, and resign as commissioner. The decision to end Ray Rices career was simply put...damage control after being caught covering up the video. It is time for policies to change but its also time for the commissioner to change too. Condoleeza Rice would have handled the situation much better!!
