I think everyone knows what has been happening with the killing of Eric garner, travyon martin, and recently Michael brown. Obviously many more before them. But instead of ignoring the many other innocents killed from these police officers, judging our skin tone, social status etc. this time the matter stayed. This time people won’t let the rest of society, the government to forget what is happening is inhumane. Black lives matter and even more. All lives matter. These police officers are violating our rights. I remember once a police car stopped no cars but ours. Why? Maybe because of my skin color and my dad? Or maybe because my mom wears a hijab. My dad works in the NYPD. My mom just has an average job. So I asked my mom what do you think about the recent cases and how the cops got away with these murders. My mom just simply said how messed up this is and how they should be arrested. They targeted these men because of their skin color. So then I asked my dad’s opinion. He just shrugged it off said he didn’t care. I was just there like what the hell. So I heard him on the phone with another friend whose a cop. And hes like * have you heard about the black guys getting killed and the officicers not getting in trouble* idk what his friend said but then my dads like America makes everything such abig deal no one cares. Its so interesting he said that. The fact he works in the NYPD and even more we were watching the news, and my dad said only black people are protesting. And I just blacked on him because that is a complete lie. So many people from different races ethnicity religions are all together to protest. But my clueless father disappointed me. So ya. I just wanted to share what my opinion was and the interesting remarks I got from my parents.
