I think it is fair to say that the Western world, perhaps the world at large, is mourning the loss of Robin Williams. And it makes me wonder: had he known, had even the slightest idea, that so many people in so many places and so many walks of life would grieve over his death... maybe, just maybe, he wouldnt have, himself, caused it. Whatever your feelings or beliefs on depression and suicide, its apparent that earlier this week we as a human race lost a man who was well-loved, admired, and is now very much missed by the masses; and I would bet he had no idea the impact he had on each of us, no matter how minimal or profound.... So to those who think they are not appreciated, not worthwhile, unfit, rejected or too far gone: please, please know that you are not! You have no idea how valuable, needed, relied on, special you are to someone, someones-- in ways and places you could not imagine. Please know that you are cared for, desirable, and you are so entirely worth the life God has in store for you! And if you need someone to listen, may I offer my own ear?
