I think most of us can remember where we were on September 11, 2001. I was late to my job that morning, glued to the screen as the towers fell. Ill never forget the horror and sadness and utter helplessness I felt watching that television screen, a whole country away in California, wishing so hard I could help in some way. There were many heroes that day, even in the smallest of ways. One that isnt often mentioned are the boat captains and crews who helped evacuate Manhattan Islands terrified populace. Normal people who waded into a horrific situation and did what they could to help their fellow man...
