I think whats happening in Ferguson, MO, whats been happpening, and what will happen for the near future is the essence of whats wrong with America. The worst part of it is that it was all expected, the non- indictment, the looting and rioting, the skewed media reporting on both sides, etc. At this point, it shouldnt be matter of pointing fingers or taking rash actions, this should be about a realization that everything needs to change, not just one thing or a few things, but everything. When the smoke eventually clears, there will still be all the same underlying problems left as there was before this tragic incident and its aftermath. I only hope that people will finally stand up to take action to make positive, long-term changes. But the fact that less than 19% of young voters even care about having their voices heard come election day, doesnt give me much hope that anything will change. So all this will continue to happen, over and over again. Young people NEED to get involved politically. The country needs new leaders with fresh new minds with new ideas that will actually take action. But nothing will change as long as old men with old money are allowed to keep the old ways. The youth of America must rise to the occasion now, not later. Ferguson is burning and America is broken... who try give us a better country from the ashes? #ferguson
