I thought Homecoming tonight at Petal High School was so nice. The Homecoming court was awesome. All the girls were beautiful and their escorts were very handsome in their tuxes. It was all done very well. But the biggest and best thing, hands down, was Lacey Easterling Saul, who had to sing the National Anthem without a mic. In all the confusion, no one brought her a mic. She walked out on that field and sang her heart out. Most folks would have crumbled under that kind of pressure - not Lacey. She did a great job under the worst of circumstances. Kudos to you, Lacey. I was very proud of you!!!!!!!
