I told myself I wouldnt write one of these New Years-y posts, because, you know, I wanted to fight the power and not be predictable and all that shit, but, you know, YOLO, and stuff, so, yeah. It goes without saying that 2014 got pretty damn real for a lot of us out there. Regardless of what year you want to say youre living in, life deals some tough shit sometimes and you have to either stand your ground and rise above it, letting the adversity mold you into a stronger, better version of the sack of flesh you were before, or hang your head, lie on the ground and cry about it, and drown in the undertow. You see, to me, this is how the universe weeds out the weak, in a sense, and Im proud to say that my roots are still planted, if you know what I mean. Ya like metaphors? Me too. Anyway. Because of all of the crazy shit Ive been through this year, I am a stronger person than I ever have been in my entire life, and it is honestly surreal for me to see the flippy-haired twerp in the mirror Ive always seen with a new light in his eyes, knowing everything that Im capable of now. I absolutely can not wait to share with all of you what Ive been doing all this time, especially those of you who keep up with my music stuff and have been wondering what the hell Ive been doing with my life since I made my huge change in direction earlier last year. Anyway... To all of my friends and followers and whoever-you-are-ers that will happen to skim through this novel on your newsfeed and actually take the time to read it instead of flipping past it to look at some Kardashian sisters ass cheeks, I hope you own 2015. I hope you wreck shit this year, make something amazing of yourself, and I cant wait for your success to inspire me in mine. If I know you or not, I wish you nothing but the best and give you all of my support and love. Heres to doing something with our lives; the year is 2015, but the time has always been... NOW.
